Alcatraz Island San Francisco
This panorama by award winning photographer Jeff Chen Kuo Chih is the OFFICIAL POSTER OF ALCATRAZ and it sells there (and the ferry docks) at the 3 stores operated by the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. It features the infamous Federal Prison on Alcatraz Island, in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. Through its history, it housed many notorious criminals of the 1920's (such as Al Capone). Closed in the 1960’s, it was incorporated into the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the 1970's.
